to such organizations as you grow it the service.
13 Is there any difference between PMA L/C
and Graduate Course?
The only difference
between PMA L/C and Graduate Course is of training tenure. Other than that
officers passed out from both the streams enjoy same perks / privileges.
14 What is the minimum qualification required
to apply for PMA L/C?
You are supposed to
have done Intermediate level education with minimum 60% Marks.
15 Is there any advantage being given to
candidates during selection process who are applying with higher level
educational qualification?
No advantage is given
to candidates having higher qualification applying for PMA L/C.
16 What will be my service tenure?
Service tenure for
PMA L/C officers increases with attaining of every higher rank. Though officer
of Major rank performs 23 years of service.
17 Can I apply after being not recommended by
ISSB after attaining higher education qualification i.e.
Graduation/Masters etc.?
Twice not recommended
candidates cannot apply third time for ISSB for PMA L/C. However a third
additional chance is given to candidate who is applying as professional (in
specific cadres of Army) after doing the Masters.
Technical Cadet Course
1.
Can
candidates, who have passed their FSc exam with CS apply for TCC?
Candidates with
Computer Science instead of Chemistry in FSc can apply for Computer Software
Engineering only.

Can
a candidate, who has passed his FSc part-I exam, apply for TCC?
Candidates passed FSc
Part-I Examination with minimum 65% marks and appearing in FSc Part II
Examination in various Education Boards may apply subject to the provision of
certificates by the Principals of their colleges that they will pass the said
examination with minimum 65% marks and attach photo copy of result card of FSc
Part-I with the application form.

Army Medical Cadet Course

however, can be relaxed up to 3 months by AG & 6 months by COAS, in special
cases.

5 Years for MBBS and
4 years for BDS at AM College Rawalpindi.
3 What are the Registration dates?
Registration dates

4 What about the candidates appearing in
O&A level exams?
Candidates appearing
in O&A level exams are required to obtain equivalence certificate from
Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC), Islamabad.
Short Service Regular Commission
1.
What
is the age relaxation?
For GDMO´s 28 years,
however, can be relaxed at the discretion of the GHQ Selection Board up to the
age of 35 years.
For Specialists 32 yrs.,
however, can be relaxed at the discretion of the GHQ Selection Board up to 40
years.
2.
Is
house job necessary?
One year house job is
not mandatory for MBBS candidates; however, for BDS candidates it is
compulsory.

What
is the duration/venue of BMT?
BMT for 22 weeks for
female at AFPGMI/male at PMA Kakul.
4.
Are
the candidates required to submit a surety bond?
The new inductees
under this clause will be commissioned in Short Svc Regular Commission to serve
for a fixed pd of 5 years only. However, the officers may be converted into
Permanent Regular Commission on expiry of 5 years if they so opt.

Answer Candidate can

advertisement , candidate will register himself through internet or visiting
nearest AS&RC. He will undergo intelligence /academic tests, preliminary
medical and physical tests. Shortlisted candidates will be called for ISSB
tests. ISSB recommended candidates will be medically examined at nearest CMH
and interviewed by GHQ Selection Board. Finally selected candidates will be
issued Joining Instructions for Basic military Training.

Basic Military
Training is of six months at PMA Kakul, Abbottabad.

training?
There are two
selection schedules in a year and it normally takes 4-5 months from the time of
registration till commencement of training, i.e April and October each year.

or not?
Candidates who are
finally selected are intimated in writing and subsequently they are informed
through telphone.
11 What is a rank in which individual will be
inducted?
Individual will be
inducted in the rank of a Soldier.
